To be this stylish and fabulous when I'm a mom.
Yes I realize this is a magazine spread and not real life but who says I can't make this real life?

Magnificent Margiela
This weekend I had the huge honour of giving a well needed home (that is full of love) to these incredible Maison Martin Margiela navy strappy patent pumps. They were looking lost and forlorn on the sale table at The Room and I just couldn't not take them home, especially after I've been following their whereabouts (and price) all season.
Have I ever told you...
About this dream (goal) I've had to open my own bridal boutique?
I have always had a love affair with wedding dresses (my collection when i graduated Design school was bridal). And when i see pictures of rings and anything bridal i tend to get giddy. Maybe i love love as much as I love gowns?
I'm not quite ready to do it yet, i think it's something I'll explore after babies. But that doesn't stop me from collecting inspiration. For example, I really want the facade to be very welcoming and and inviting - like this;
It would be by appointment only, my mom would work there part time once she's retired. I'd have a beautiful selection of veils and headpieces that are custom designed for my store (maybe by me?) and displayed in a beautiful antique armoire with glass doors.
And of course I'd fill it with adorable & highly coveted frocks not readily available anywhere else. At a variety of price points, possibly specializing in high end gowns.
It's going to be fantastic. I can see it already.

Quirky Carven Interview Chic!
I am completely obsessed with what I have now termed 'quirky office' ensembles. (read: fashion girl office attire).
As I'm starting to move out of Sabbatical mode and into Interview mode I find myself craving more and more quirky office outfits & pieces to mix and match and Carven is feeding my Craving.
I give you exhibit A:

I give you exhibit A:
A gorgeous silk blouse with a tie front, adds a little something of the unexpected.
Pair it with an adorable tweed skirt (exhibit B) like so...
et voila! I give you Carven Interview Chic!
I would ace any & every interview in this outfit, all available at Net a Porter.

PS 11 - PS I Love You
I have been mad crushing on the PS 1 (small, black) for a while now. I still think it's a great every day bag, casual, cool, and slightly over priced.
*ahem*
However.... today I met the PS 11 tote - The cool, sophisticated, more structured, yet slightly edgy older sister. The PS 11 moved right past a high school crush, and right into full on L.O.V.E. love. And while having both would certainly balance my wardrobe nicely, the PS 11 is without a doubt on the top of my hit list. In fact I don't think I've crushed this hard since I first met my pleated leather hobo Miu Miu in Hong Kong 4 years ago, and we all know how that affair ended.

The inverted-pyramid hardware goes perfect with my Eddie Borgo earrings... just sayin.
